Prepare a lesson in PowerPoint
that includes two slides with questions every 10 - 15 minutes.
The questions can either review the main points of the last
few slides or preview what you are about to teach. Survey
type questions might be appropriate to get the students'
opinions or baseline of knowledge prior to discussing a
certain topic.

 The
teacher will immediately know if the students are listening
and understanding the material. Embedding questions into
a lesson keeps the students alert because they know questions
will show up every few minutes and the teacher will know
if they are keeping up. Responding to the questions provides
immediate feedback and students will know if they are falling
behind. Additional practice
or study assignments can be
made based on the results.
